Ida Rude is a versatile professional at Coldwell Banker San Juan Islands, Inc., where she serves as the Executive Assistant to the Designated Managing Broker, as well as a Graphic Designer and Marketing Coordinator. In her role as Head of Marketing, Social Media, and Graphic Design, she creates compelling visual content and provides support to her team. Since becoming a licensed Real Estate Broker in July 2022, she has further enhanced her expertise in the industry.
Originally from Gothenburg, Sweden, Ida moved to the United States at the age of four. She spent part of her childhood on San Juan Island before relocating to Los Angeles, where she later attended Pierce College. After high school, Ida returned to Sweden for a year, where she embraced her dual citizenship. She is fluent in English and proficient in Swedish and Spanish, which brings a global perspective to her work.
Ida returned to San Juan Island in 2018, drawn by its tranquil lifestyle and tight-knit community. She has been actively involved with the Friday Harbor High School cheerleading program since 2018 and became the Head Cheerleading Coach in 2022. Her husband, Nathan, comes from a long-standing island family. Their family business, Rude Electric, has provided trusted electrical services throughout the San Juan Islands for years, known for their commitment to quality and their tagline, “Rude Electric – A Name, Not an Attitude.” Ida cherishes her life in Friday Harbor and invites everyone to explore the beauty of the San Juan Islands.
