Ida Carlshagen is a multifaceted professional at Coldwell Banker San Juan Islands, Inc., serving as the Executive Assistant to the Designated Managing Broker, Graphic Designer, and Marketing Coordinator. As the Head of Marketing, Social Media, and Graphic Design, Ida excels in creating captivating visual concepts that resonate with consumers, while also providing vital administrative support to the entire team. Since July 2022, she has also been a licensed Real Estate Broker, further expanding her expertise in the industry.
Born in Gothenburg, Sweden, Ida moved to the United States at the age of four. She spent part of her childhood on San Juan Island, experiencing its unique charm from ages five to eight before relocating to the San Fernando Valley near Los Angeles. There, she pursued her education at Los Angeles Pierce College. With dual citizenship, Ida embraced her heritage by living in Sweden for a year after high school, enriching her cultural perspective. She is fluent in English and proficient in both Swedish and Spanish.
Ida returned to San Juan Island in August 2018, drawn by the tranquil island lifestyle and the close-knit community of Friday Harbor. In addition to her professional roles, she is deeply involved in the local community as the Head Cheerleading Coach at Friday Harbor High School. She has been coaching since 2018 and has served as the head coach since 2022. Ida finds unparalleled beauty and peace in this small town and envisions a lifelong connection to the area.
